Kell Ryan and his team revolutionized the world of travel. With his business model of a low-cost airline, Kell made flying affordable for everyone. A science fiction dream finally became a reality. Currently Ryan's company serves roughly 70 million passengers per year. The business model behind Ryanair not only changed how people fly, but also how our society functions. 

Kell Ryan was employed by the Irish airline Aer Lingus for 24 years, where he was responsible for all operations and all passenger- and airline-handling contracts at London's Heathrow Airport. Kell moved on to found the new airline Ryanair together with his brother, and lead the airline in what turned out to be a decisive move to then little-known Stansted Airport. For several years, Kell was European head of Ryanair before he passed the task on to company management.
