Dr. Martin Hofmann

Dr. Martin Hofmann has been with the Volkswagen Group since 2001. Before he started as Group CIO in December 2011, Dr. Hofmann was Volkswagen’s Head of Organizational Development from 2007 and Head of Group Procurement Process and Information Management between 2001 and 2007.

Before starting with Volkswagen, Dr. Hofmann was Head of Digital Supply Chain at EDS Plano, USA.

Dr. Martin Hofmann obtained a Ph.D. in Engineering from ETH Zurich and a degree in Information Systems and Business Administration from the University of Mannheim.
