Dr. Yair Sharan

ICTAF: Director

PhD in physics, Director of the Interdisciplinary Center for Technological Analysis and Forecasting (ICTAF) at Tel Aviv University, Israel.

Specializing in Foresight studies, technology assessment and S&T policy. Dr. Sharan is the coordinator of the EU PRACTIS project on the future of privacy and takes part in several other EU research projects. Dr. Sharan is a member of the International Foresight Academy leading its dissemination activity. Other foresight studies include the future of security, energy foresight and the Israeli S&T Foresight. He is the co-editor of the books:
