The influence of technology on the privacy of the future
Sam Mandel, Executive Vice President of Tweetdeck, discusses the extent to which tech will shape our privacy in the future. In his talk, he shares his own experiences with the audience and presents his forecast for the coming ten years. Example: Mandel fully expects that detailed information on family status or current employment situation will naturally be found on network likes Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn. Mandel’s vision of the future is centered on the developing digitalization of all data and information which have not yet been translated into this form. According to Mandel, the concept of privacy should be more fully integrated into business innovation by our companies.
