The Future of Customers: How technology will change privacy

Technologies such as smart glasses will lead to an even greater rise in transparency over the years to come, and will radically change consumer environments. It seems like we are soon headed for a world without any secrets whatsoever! The camera function of Google Glass has already caused social outrage in past discussions. Like the pioneer product itself, however, this was only an indication of things to come. New developments will continue to massively change the consumer environment. New functions in wearables are constantly being developed in Silicon Valley. Mass market wearable products, for example, will soon be able to automatically read the emotions of everyone we meet. In the future, new technologies will make revolutionary business models possible. In his talk, Catalin Voss gives an inside look into Google, the world of Silicon Valley, dawning technology developments, and how these things will change consumer environments and customer segments in the future.
