The future of payment – The end of bills, coins, and credit cards

According to Andrew Kortina, the end of the credit card is at the door. In five years, smartphone payment solutions will be commonplace. Sales in the future will largely be shaped by the question of who controls payment data. This is why many banks, credit card providers, online retailers, and other internet giants are investing in various doppelganger of swiping pioneer SQUARE.  

Andrew Kortina has a different vision of the future. He founded VENMO, a mobile solution that makes payment between mobile devices possible (and may well make credit cards obsolete). In his talk, he speaks about his idea for the future of payment.
