The Future of the Internet Lies in Outer Space

A third of the world's population can only dream of internet access. Greg Wyler's vision is providing precisely these people with high-performance, low-cost internet access in the future. Is he totally crazy, or one of history's greatest innovators? In his keynote address, Wyler explains how he plans - together with investors like Paul Jacobsen and Richard Branson - to launch 648 mini satellites into space which will cover the entire globe with internet access. For this initiative, Wyler was awarded the 2b AHEAD Innovator's Award 2015.
