The “wealth without money” principle

Prof. Adrian Bowyer’s “wealth without money” principle presents four overlapping layers: The first layer consists of normative values, which intersect with the economic layer, which itself is overshadowed by the layer of the natural sciences. Prof. Bowyer views money as nothing more than a means to an end – after all, you can only use it to buy things that others have produced. Bowyer’s concept of the RepRap 3D printer and its OpenSource movement represent a revolution in consumer environments.
